Great importance is placed on client contact prior to the visit either by telephone or at a face to face meeting. At this stage general discussion is encouraged and as much detail on the individual or family requirement is obtained as possible.
Areas to be considered are decided, budgets defined and then the house-hunting programme can be arranged. Enormous preparation is required at this stage by our counsellors in order to organise the right property for the client at the right price in the right location. This can either be to purchase or to rent.
For those clients with children education is usually their priority. We are able through experience and educationalists to help with this decision.
Prior to the visit information is obtained regarding suitable schools, their status, availability, and the requirements schools have of applicants. When there is time this is sent to the client. The property itinerary can then be built around the chosen school. It is imperative that the child is matched to the school whether it is an international, fee paying or state school.
Claire Pickles and Associates will negotiate rental or purchase price, organise the transfer of services and represent the client at inventory if applicable.
Progress reports are given regularly to the client and problems identified and dealt with as soon as they arise.
